Annie Pierce, President
Annie Pierce is a native of southern Caifornia, home of happy cows, and sunshine, all the time. She still likes the snow and bears the wind chill here in Boston somehow. She is a senior in SED studying Elementary and Special education and loves kids. She spends most of her time working with kids in classes and mentoring groups. She also tries to promote the pro-life message on Boston University’s campus and everywhere. She wishes to have conversations with as many people as possible about what BU Students for Life does for women and BU as a campus. Annie dabbles in playing piano, guitar and air trumpet. She likes Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and might get a tattoo of the dark mark on her arm.
Aaron Yuengert, Vice President
Born in New Jersey, raised in southern California, and baptized by fire into Red Sox Nation in 2003, Aaron Yuengert is now a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He’s happy any time he’s creating something or exploring the wonders of the American wilderness. But he’s never seen a wilder invention or more beautiful work of nature than a human being, and that’s why defending human life and dignity makes him happier than either. Other things that make him happy are books (like the REAL Lord of the Rings), puzzles, volunteering, being Catholic, obscure pop culture references, and people who get his name right. (The U is silent.)
Catherine Enwright, Secretary
Catherine Enwright is from Leominster, MA which is really close to Boston even if you have never heard of it and is a sophomore in SED studying English Education and Special Education. She plays the violin, draws, paints, sews, reads and shepherds her brother and two cats. As a work study teacher for the 2-5 yr olds at the Children’s Center at BU, she works with kids a lot and this motivates her involvement with the pro-life movement.
Rosie Bauder, Treasurer
Rosie is a born and raised Jersey girl (not exactly from Snookie’s neck of the woods though) and is a junior in CAS studying Psychology with a minor in Public Health and Education. Her passions include music, cooking, NBC comedies, and spreading the word about the preciousness of life! Her inspiration for making this year the most successful for BUSFL is this quote, “If to be feelingly alive to the sufferings of my fellow creatures is to be a fanatic, I am one of the most incurable fanatics ever permitted to be at large.” -William Wilberforce
