As tomorrow, December 12, is the last day to sign up to come on the March for Life, there will be executive board members available in the GSU Link from 3-7 PM to collect the $20 fee from everyone who hasn’t paid yet. You can still sign up here.
The deadline to sign up for the March for Life and pay your $20 is Thursday, December 12. You can sign up here. Stay tuned for details about where to bring the money. If you haven’t paid by Thursday, you are not coming to the March!
It’s that time of year again!
As we do every January, BUSFL will soon be traveling to our nation’s capital to join with hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers from all across America in the annual March for Life. The March begins on the National Mall and ends at the Supreme Court, where preborn Americans were stripped of their right to life 41 years ago in the Roe vs. Wade decision.
This year the March takes place on January 22. (Yes, we know it’s a Wednesday!) Is it worth missing a day of classes? Heck yes! We will be traveling by bus with the Boston College pro-life club, departing on Tuesday night and returning Wednesday night. A spot on the bus costs only $20!
If you are interested in joining us at this unforgettable event, come to our next meeting Thursday, December 5 at 8:00 PM in CAS B25A. If you can’t make it to the meeting, email us at email@example.com.
Boston University Students For Life is proud to present our Pregnant and Parenting Resource Guide!
We understand that facing an unplanned pregnancy is a scary situation, especially in college. Although it is not easy, it is definitely possible to continue your education once you become a parent. BUSFL is a student group committed to helping pregnant and parenting students succeed in continuing their education by providing resources and support for them and their children. This document is meant to be a starting point for the student or staff member who encounters a pregnancy. While it is by no means all-encompassing, it lists all the resources that we are aware of on campus and in the Boston area that may be helpful.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit our website at www.buprolife.wordpress.com for more information. We recommend that you also contact one of Boston’s pregnancy resource centers (www.daybreakinc.org at 617-742-9170 or www.pregnancyhelpboston.org at 888-771-3914).
We will constantly be adding and updating the information contained in this packet as we gain more exposure. If you would like to help us with our mission please contact us at email@example.com.
Welcome back to school, everyone!
BUSFL is kicking off the year with a general meeting on Tuesday, September 10 at 9 PM in CAS room 428. We’ll set out goals for the year, assign everyone to committees to carry out those goals, and remind ourselves why it’s so important to take a stand for life.
Ever wish you could make a better argument for protecting the unborn? Let Scott Klusendorf of the Life Training Institute show you how on Thursday, September 19 at 8 PM, again in CAS 428. We’ll be watching the DVD of his lecture, “The Case for the Pro-Life Position”. This is something every pro-lifer should know, so come join us if you can!
